Support the Greyhound Project
SquashWise's Future Home
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Thank you for participating in our Staff Fundraising Efforts!
Baltimore SquashWise is currently transforming the former Greyhound bus terminal into a permanent home for our youth development program as well as a hub for community squash. As a member of the SquashWise staff, we are looking to get as many family members, friends, community members and more involved in our collective fund raising efforts! I have had INCREDIBLE support, and so I am looking to raise my fundraising goal a little bit. Join us and be a bart of making SquashWise's future home a reality!
I have been with SquashWise for just over a year now and I am not exaggerating to say that every day I continue to love my work and love the students I am working with. When asked recently by one of our seniors "Why I chose to work with SquashWise" it was not a difficult answer for me to give - It is because of the awesome kids that choose to walk in the door every day!
SquashWise is the only public school squash program in Baltimore and provides coaching and competition along with tutoring, social emotional learning and college/career readiness to nearly 100 Baltimore City student-athletes each year. Our students are rockstars. In addition to competing in local/regional/national squash tournaments, they routinely outperform their peers in school โ more than 85% of SquashWise students qualify for high schools with selective entry criteria and over 80% have matriculated to college.
Having operated out of rented and temporary space, SquashWise looks forward to growing our program at the new center which will also serve as a hub for community squash. We aim to make the sport a more inclusive and welcoming one through sliding-scale memberships, tournaments and community squash clinics open to anyone interested in participating and giving squash a shot.
Thank you for your support!
